Privacy and personal data

The form

When you send the form we receive your name, the contact details you enter and your message: the provider, the fact and the link. Nothing else is collected and no account is needed.

We never publish your name or contact details and use them only for questions about what you sent.

Counting visits

Visits are counted by a script this site serves itself. It sets no cookies and builds no profiles. A click on a contact button on a provider page sends a single event with the button type, the provider and its activities, and nothing about you.

Your location

Your location is requested only after you press the location button. It stays in your browser while the tab is open, is used there to work out distances and is sent nowhere, this site included.

Your browser remembers a station, school or district you choose by name for your next visit.

The map in the filters is drawn from OpenStreetMap: opening it makes your browser fetch map tiles from OpenStreetMap’s servers, which, like any website, see your IP address and the part of the map on screen. The point you pick stays in your browser.

Listed providers and your rights

The catalogue repeats what providers publish for the public on their own websites, municipal pages and Google listings. Where one person runs a provider, a phone number or address appears only if that person published it.

The legal basis is Turkey’s Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK): Article 5(2)(d), data the person has made public, and Article 5(2)(f), legitimate interest, because parents need these facts to compare activities; for readers in the EU, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Nothing is sold and nobody is profiled.

Anyone named in the catalogue can use the rights in Article 11 of the KVKK, to learn what is held, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object, through the form. We reply within thirty days. You may also complain to the Personal Data Protection Authority (Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu).

Deleting a message

To delete a message you sent, write to us through the form and say which message you mean. It is removed within one month.
